He's just a CAT

For those that don't have a pet, who would ever believe just how attached you can get. Just a few days more than a year ago, Spanky was a pound cat. When we brought him home and gave him a new name ( his pound name was Domino, now he's Spanky ), not only did he move in, he adopted us as his family. In many ways he behaves more like a dog or a child. If we go out and leave him at home, he comes running when we return. It's obvious that he's glad to see us and we're always glad to see him.

After only a year he seems pretty well satisfied with his training. Don't misunderstand, he's training us, not vice-versa.
This is his new portrait. Pretty handsome wouldn't you say?

Naiveté

na·ive·té Audio Help /nɑivˈteɪ, -ˌivəˈteɪ, -ˈivteɪ, -ˈivə-/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[nah-eev-tey, -ee-vuh-tey, -eev-tey, -ee-vuh-] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun 1. the quality or state of being naive; natural or artless simplicity.
2. a naive action, remark, etc.

Also, na·ïve·té, na·ive·te.

This is an interesting subject. I find it fascinating that some folks that think of themselves as learned and sophisticated can be so naive. Without naming names in a public place, I've had some interesting encounters of late.
